Slider Bed Conveyors
Slider bed conveyors can be used in horizontal, decline and occasionally incline applications. We use different design methods depending on the product size and load. Belt type is always up to the customer but we can offer suggestions as there are large numbers of new products now on the market.
At Progress Material Handling, we offer our customers three different drive options, again depending on product size and load. Centre drive, end drive using conventional motor/reducer and powered roller end drives are all available. All drive pulleys are lagged for maximum efficiency.
Belt Driven Live Roller Conveyors
BDLR conveyors are most commonly used in incline situations. Rollers under the belt, instead of flat steel as in a slider bed, reduces belt friction for easier drive operation. Power feeders are usually installed at the bottom or charge end and a nose-over at the top or discharge end for smoother transition of product.
